With the Christmas holidays and the New Year fast approaching, you are more than likely planning to attend special events. You might even be hosting a party yourself. With that in mind, you may have been thinking that you want to make some changes to your appearance; give yourself a special new look, so to speak. Teeth Whitening - If you watch any television shows at all, you've probably seen many commercials that deal with people getting their teeth whitened. Have you tried any of the kinds of toothpaste that those commercials advertise? Perhaps you did try some, but you weren't thrilled with the results. If that's the case, consider talking to your family dentist about having your teeth whitened professionally. If you do decide to get help from your dentist, he or she will probably make a template of your teeth so that a device can be constructed that will hold the teeth whitening agent. Then you'll begin the process. Be sure to follow the directions. If you leave the liquid on your teeth too long, you might experience some discomfort. Don't be surprised if you get results quite rapidly. Once you have paid for the teeth whitening system, you will more than likely be able to get more of the substance when you run out without having to pay extra for it.
Makeup Tricks - Once you have a bright new smile, you'll probably want to add to your new look by selecting cosmetics that will enhance your face. For example, perhaps you have been wearing neutral or nude lipstick shades. Think of trying a brighter color, say brick red if you're a brunette or copper if you're a redhead. Try new shades of eyeshadow and mascara, too. For example, if you have blue eyes, they might stand out even more if you apply turquoise colored eyeshadow. For everyday events, go light on the eyeshadow. When you want to look extra elegant, think of applying more turquoise shadow. Have you already thought of purchasing false eyelashes? They can be applied in a way that you can even shower in them. Giving attention to your eyebrows will probably add to the expression in your face. For example, if you are a blonde, you might look kind of washed out unless you apply the right color of brown eyebrows cosmetics.
